The Maintenance Planner is responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). They will manage asset availability for maintenance activities and coordinate with external resources or internal resources alongside the Maintenance Manager to execute the maintenance plan.
The Maintenance Planner will formalise the Company’s maintenance processes and procedures and strive for continuous safety, quality & productivity improvements/enhancements.
Your responsibilities will include the following;
• Developing the CMMS to ensure all RØDE assets across the various campuses are managed via the CMMS
• Developing the CMMS to ensure all assets have maintenance plans or procedures
• Managing asset availability for the maintenance activities with Production Planners
• Coordinating with external resources (contractors) or internal resources with the Maintenance Manager to execute the maintenance plan.
• Effectively manage documentation for all maintenance activities to ensure accurate records are kept
• Oversee and ensure all current relevant operational system documents are in accordance with best practice and relevant quality standards.
• Prepare documented report for compliance relating to maintenance activities
• Document and maintain maintenance work instructions relating to maintenance activities
• Prepare Tenders and RFQ’s for facilities and maintenance works.
• Conduct audits on maintenance processes and procedures to ensure compliance to the maintenance processes and procedures.
• Support Infrastructure Team in the implementation, deployment of predictive and monitoring process for assets
• Support Infrastructure Team with overall asset and maintenance process related improvements
We will provide you with the tools and environment to enable you to be successful, but you will be required to bring with you;
• Have a true passion for maintenance of facilities and assets and with a view to continuously improve, with the ability to analyse and provide recommendations on maintenance excellence, efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainability impact.
• Degree or trade equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• Significant experience in a facilities management role
• Previous experience developing maintenance plans and procedures in a CMMS
• Competent across WHS, QA and ideally environmental legislation and systems.
• Familiarity with the operation of Services (plumbing, fire, electrical etc.) and services delivery.
• High level written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on analysis and strategic planning and succinct reporting and recommendations.
• Ability in financial, budgeting, forecasting, business planning and contract monitoring.
• Well-organised and methodical manner.
• Confidence to take independent decisions but with the judgement to take advice when required.
• Experience in end-to-end project management with the ability to scope, execute and track projects as allocated.
• A good understanding of structured projects and engineering methodologies.
• Ability to work well in a group, sharing ideas and problem solving.
• Excellent organizational skills, such as time management, prioritizing and attention to detail.
• Excellent team and interpersonal skills
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio)
